“The Secret” to House Flipping Success
One of the movies we advocate our house flipping school students to watch is The Secret.
The movie got a bit too much exposure when it first came out, with the author Rhoda Byrne making the circuit on Oprah, Ellen, Montel, The Today Show...all advocating the power of “the law of attraction”.
It’s not exactly the kind of self-improvement author you’d think of when learning how to flip houses…
The truth is that the movie (and the subsequent best-selling book) is one of the best movies you can watch to inspire you to success when you first start flipping houses.
Aladdin, the Genie and House Flipping
In the fairytale Aladdin and the Magic Lamp, a young boy comes across a magical lamp - out of which a genie appears before him.
The genie asks the boy “your wish is my command”.
Whatever the boy asks for, he gets from the genie.
Sound pretty good, right?
What most people in real estate investing don’t realize is that house flipping success works in the very same way…
When it comes to achieving success flipping houses, the first step is to “ask the genie”.
The 3 Step Formula for House Flipping Success
Step 1: Ask For House Flipping Success
The first step is to ask, make a command to the universe – let the universe know what it is that you want.
Sit down and write it out on a piece of paper. Write it in the present tense.
Start it with “I am so happy and grateful now that…I make $100,000 per year in profit flipping houses.
You must be very clear on what you want and state it positively; otherwise “the genie” will not know what to bring you.
Likewise if you think and if you ask for bad things, he’ll bring that to you too.
When people do this, sometimes for the first time in their lives, they get very clear on what it is that they really want. If you don’t ask for success flipping houses, how will the universe know you actually want it?
Think of the universe as your personal catalog, and you are just placing an order.
You don’t need to ask over and over, you only need to ask once.
After all, if you were ordering something from a catalog or on Amazon, you wouldn’t keep placing the order multiple times until it’s delivered to you would you? All you’d do is place the order, sit back, relax and wait for the item to arrive.
Step 2: Act As If House Flipping Success Is Already There - Believe
Believe as if whatever it is that you want you have already received. You need to believe that what you really want has already come, you must have complete and utter faith that it will arrive.
If you placed an order in a catalog, once you place it you KNOW it will come, you relax, kick back and know it will come. It’s the same way with house flipping.
Believe that whatever it is that you want…is already yours. As soon as you place the order, and believe that you already have it, the entire universe shifts to bring it to you. All you need to do is act, believe and speak in a way that you have received it now.
If your thoughts are dominated by not having it already, then your mind starts to attract what you don’t want.
When you order a vacation, you know those things are yours you don’t go back and re-order it do you?
Create the feeling of having it already – claim the things you want by believing they are already yours. When you do that, the law of attraction will powerfully move all circumstances and events so that you receive it.
Act AS IF you have achieved house flipping success already.
When you make believe, then you sill start to receive because you know – have faith that you have it.
You can learn to mold anything in your mind if you force your mind to think in this way.
When you are completely believing - you are receiving, then watch the magic begin…
The universe then starts to “rearrange itself” to make it happen for you.
Most of us have never allowed ourselves to want what we really want because we simply cannot see idea how it will manifest itself.
The truth is that throughout history - anyone who ever accomplished anything – did not know how they were going to do it, they only knew that they were going to do it. Einstein, Edison, Ford, Carnegie…they all knew this secret.
You don’t need to know exactly how your house flipping success is going to come about. You don’t need to know how the universe will rearrange itself to make it come to you.
When you start to think “how” this house flip success will happen, and exactly how the universe will bring it to you is not your concern, let the universe do it for you. When you start to think about “how will I ever achieve this house flipping success” you emit a frequency lack of faith that it will happen - you start to think you have to do it and the universe will not do it for you.
This creates doubt.
Your job is not “the how”...don't worry about that because you will attract the way to get you to where you want to go.

But more importantly, the “how will I achieve success flipping houses” is not your part in the creative process.
Simply this: if you don’t know how, you will attract the way - it will be attracted to you.
Many times when we don’t see the things we want right away, or we experience some setbacks, we get frustrated and doubtful…
Believe the success you want flipping houses for profit is already on its way…
Step 3: Receive House Flipping Success
Begin to feel incredible about it that you want. Feel the way you will feel once it arrives.
Envision yourself proudly telling your spouse, your friends your family how successful you become flipping houses. See it in your mind's eye now...
Feel happy, feel good. Feel it. You need to feel it actually already having happened. You need it feel it deep within you.
And then wait for it to come to you…acting like it is already there all along.

- Believe you have received it
- Feel good about already receiving it
And that is “The Secret” to house flipping success.
