how to flip houses with no money down exposing yourselfOne of the questions that I continually get asked is: “how to flip houses with no money down?”

I think it’s because people see all the TV shows that show people how to flip houses with no money down and they really want to know if it actually can be done!

The problem is that they make it all seem so easy.

They say that anyone can do this, it doesn’t matter if you have no credit, have bad credit or no money. They say anyone can do it.

Sounds like a lot of hype right?

How to Flip Houses With No Money Down…The Naked Truth

The bottom line is, you can learn how to flip houses with no money down…so the gurus and the TV shows have it half right.

Is it easier to flip houses if you have money?  Absolutely.

I’ll be the first one to tell you, that if you have a large sum of money and you want to get involved in real estate investing, it is absolutely easier to do it that way than with no money.

It’s also easier to flip houses with no money using your own assets.

But if you are motivated, you want to get into house flipping, you can flip houses with no money using other people’s money to fund the project.

It’s no mystery; it’s called OPM (other people’s money) and we’ve discussed it many times here on the blog.

This video explains it:

And how do you do that?  You don’t just go knocking on doors, or pick up the phone and call your family for a few hundred thousand dollars…although that would be nice.

The first thing you need to do is get educated on how to flip houses.  Here are a few tip on getting started:

  • Read: Start reading books and learn everything you can about house flipping. The fact that you are here reading this blog is a very good step. Do a Google search for “how to flip houses with no money down” and you’ll find plenty of information there as well.
  • Surround: Immerse yourself with people who are doing the business and are more successful than you. Who you associate with speaks volumes about who you are. Hang out with super successful people. This success mindset will rub off on you…and they also may be great sources of capital to fund your house flips as well.
  • Get Out: Go to real estate investment meetings: REIA or Real Estate Investment Association meetings. They are all over the country, and there is most likely one in your area. I go to them all the time. These meetings helped me to meet some of the investors I currently work with…flipping houses with their money.

Here is a short video of me at one of the local REIA meetings held in Bourne, Massachusetts. I am sitting on this panel with other extremely successful real estate investors. Real estate investors and money lenders who I never would have met had I not attended my local REIA meeting:

Get Out There…Expose Yourself!

This does not mean rip off all your clothes and streak the neighborhood….

What it does mean is that house flipping is a team sport and you need to get out and formulate your own all-star house flipping team. It may mean forming partnerships. But most importantly it means getting out and meeting people.

The best and easiest way to make money flipping houses is to talk to people who are actually flipping houses. Talk to people like myself.

I am here to help you succeed in flipping houses.
